We know that for the committed gardener, the job is never done!
Rain or shine, warm or cold, there is always something in need of attention, whether its winter potatoes, early spring pruning, summer annuals or autumn lawn seeding; the garden can need attention at any and all times of year.
That’s why at Nibletts we have a year round gardening department, not just a seasonal aisle! So whenever you need us, for emergency or just to upgrade to a more comfortable pair of gloves, we’re here for you. Naturally we always strive to make our prices the best in town so you don’t need to look anywhere else!
Our highly experienced staff are also on hand to offer assistance making sure you purchase the right product for the right task, if you’re grappling to grasp the nettles of your first plot don’t worry we can advise on everything from weed control to fence painting!
We stock a broad array of products, which include but aren’t limited to:
Hand Tools (anything non-electrical)
Quality brands including of Draper, Spear & Jackson, fiskars. We know how important it is to have to right tool for the job. At Nibletts we stock a large range of hand tools, including long and short handled forks & spades, as well as rakes, lawn airers and much more.
Power Tools (anything battery/mains)
Brands including Bosch, Draper, Flymo & Black&Decker. Lawnmowers (and quality spares), chainsaws, hedge trimmers and small handheld powertools. All available to order and stocked all year round.
Accessories (anything to make the job easier!)
Garden gloves, kneelers, greenhouse heating, power tool spares & more! We stock a good range of wheelbarrows subject to availability, self assembly and ready to roll!
Sundries (the bread and butter bits and pieces)
We stock twine and ties, pots & planters, sacks and felts, mesh & chickenwire. Irrigation (anything wet!). We offer Jeyes fluid, rubble sacks, wellington boots & pest control amongst much more!
Irrigation (Anything wet!)
Brands including Hozelock & Draper. Water can sometimes become unexpectedly rare, and we always recommend (wherever you are able to) using our storage solutions to recycle rain water. We also stock a range of hozes, fixtures & fittings, water butts, water cans (galvanised & plastic), sprayers & more.
Garden Chemicals
Brands including Doff, Bayer Garden, Scotts Miracle-Gro, J Arthur Bowers, We offer all those necessary evils – weed killers, bug & pest control, slug killer etc. We also stock a range of general and specialist plant/vegetable food & fertilisers, lawn weed & feed.
Growing Media
Brands include Durstons, J Arthur Bowers. We stock compost all year round, in a range of sizes and types including peat free, grow bags, multipurpose and more. We’ll even help you carry it to your car if you want!
Bulbs, Annuals & Seeds
Stocked brands include Mr Fothergills, Taylors Bulbs, During all relevant planting seasons we carry bulbs (spring & summer flowering plus vegetable), but we carry seeds all year round. We offer a good range of summer annuals in Spring for adding a last minute splash of colour to any garden or window box.
Wild Bird Food
We know how important it is to support our native wild birds, so we sell bird food by the Lb/Kilo loose, additionally we offer speciality bird food to suit most native species needs.
